THE GREEN ELEMENT® noise barrier concept was awarded the Danish Design Award in 2000 for Product Design in a Public Space.

PileByg’s noise barriers have been included in the Danish National Road Directorate´s Example Collections and the Danish National Road Directorate´s highly lauded initiative which has won many awards: ‘Beautiful Roads’, publicity and display of photos of THE GREEN ELEMENT® with facades in living and dry willow.

The natural playscape A WORLD OF WILLOW was awarded by the Danish Open-Air Council in an idea competition for natural playgrounds. Vibe Gro from PileByg has since published the book A WORLD OF WILLOW with the publishers KLEMATIS
